How does it work?

Focus Mode is a Chrome extension that helps you concentrate by muting visual distractions. It grayscales and blurs all images and ads on the page — until you hover over them. This lets you stay focused on reading, while still being able to view visuals when you choose.

Works well, subtle and it does the job, i like the atmosphere it creates. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I think the concept of the extension works really well with it's intended use and in practice it actually helps with focusing because the internet can be kinda CHAOTIC sometimes.. :3⭐⭐⭐⭐

Installation guide

  1. Click the "Download" button above to get the ZIP file.
  2. Unzip the folder on your computer.
  3. In Chrome, open chrome://extensions
  4. Turn on "Developer mode" (top right corner)
  5. Click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped folder
  6. The Focus Mode button will now appear on your Chrome toolbar. Click it to toggle the effect on any page.
